SBI PO Prelims Result 2025: Great news for the lakhs of candidates who appeared for the State Bank of India (SBI) Probationary Officer (PO) Preliminary Examination 2025. The bank is soon going to declare the results of this exam. The result will be available on SBI's official website sbi.co.in.
When will the SBI PO Prelims Result 2025 be released?
According to the recruitment notification, the SBI PO Prelims Result 2025 is likely to be released in August or September 2025. However, the exact date has not yet been announced. Along with the result, the scorecard of the candidates will also be made available. As soon as the result is released, candidates will be able to view their scores using their registration number or roll number and date of birth or password.
When was the exam held?
The SBI PO Preliminary Examination was conducted on August 4, 2025. This examination is considered one of the most prestigious recruitment examinations in the banking sector. A total of 541 vacancies will be filled through this recruitment process.
SBI PO Recruitment Process: Selection will be in three stages
The SBI PO selection process is completed in three stages.
- First stage: Preliminary Examination (Prelims)
- Second stage: Main Examination (Mains)
- Third stage: Interview and Group Exercise
Candidates who are successful in the preliminary examination will be invited for the main examination. Those who qualify in the main examination will be called for the final stage i.e. interview.
Normalization process after result declaration
SBI has clarified that the normalization process will be adopted before releasing the preliminary examination result. This means that the scores of all the candidates will be brought to a uniform scale to ensure uniformity in the examinations held in different shifts. Only after this the final result will be released.
What will be included in the scorecard
Candidates will get the following information in the scorecard to be released along with SBI PO Prelims Result 2025.
- Name and Roll Number
- Section-wise Marks
- Total Marks Obtained
- Qualifying Status (Qualified / Not Qualified)
Also, the scorecard will also contain information on whether the candidate has crossed the cut-off marks or not.

To download the SBI PO Prelims Result and Scorecard, candidates have to follow the steps given below.
- Visit the official website of State Bank of India sbi.co.in.
- Click on the Careers section on the homepage.
- Click on “SBI PO Prelims Result 2025/Scorecard” link.
- Enter your registration number/roll number and date of birth/password on the login page.
- Click on the Submit button.
- Your result and scorecard will appear on the screen.
- Download the printout of the result after checking all the information.
When will the cut-off marks come?
SBI has also informed that the cut-off marks will be released a few days after the result. Only those candidates who have obtained cut-off marks equal to or more than the cut-off marks will be eligible for the main examination.
