Bollywood's King Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, is once again in the news regarding his upcoming film 'King'. The film was being shot at Golden Tobacco Studio in Mumbai these days, where Shah Rukh suddenly got injured while filming an action sequence. According to sources present on the set, the accident happened when a high-octane stunt scene was being shot.

It is reported that Shah Rukh has not suffered any serious injuries in the accident, but he needed immediate treatment due to muscle strain and swelling. As a result, the film's shooting has been postponed indefinitely.

Shooting to Resume in September-October

News of the change in the shooting schedule is now being confirmed from within the film unit's inner circles. It is being said that Shah Rukh will now be able to resume shooting only in September or October. Until then, all location bookings made for 'King' at Film City, YRF Studios, and Golden Tobacco Studio in Mumbai have been cancelled.

Several Big Names Included in the Star Cast

Although the official announcement of the film has not been made yet, the excitement about 'King' remains high among the people. One reason for this is the film's b star cast. Along with Shah Rukh Khan, his daughter Suhana Khan will also be seen in this film, who has already made her debut with Zoya Akhtar's film 'The Archies'.

Apart from this, many well-known actors like Rani Mukherjee, Deepika Padukone, Abhishek Bachchan, Arshad Warsi, Jackie Shroff, Jaideep Ahlawat, Anil Kapoor, and Abhay Verma are part of this project. Director Siddharth Anand is directing this film, who has previously delivered hits like 'Pathaan' and 'War'.

Immediately after the incident, Shah Rukh was given initial treatment by the medical team and then he left with his team for treatment in America. According to sources, he has suffered a serious muscle injury, due to which doctors have advised him to rest. After treatment, Shah Rukh may have to take a break of about two months.

Film's Shooting to Also Take Place in Europe

The story of 'King' is being shot on a global level. Apart from India, the film's team is also going to shoot in Europe. According to the earlier plan, a large-scale shooting was to be held in Scotland in July-August, in which Shah Rukh and Suhana would film major scenes. But now that schedule has also been postponed due to Shah Rukh's injury.

Sources say that the team is now preparing to postpone the Scotland schedule to the last month of the year. Currently, the entire team is waiting for Shah Rukh's recovery so that shooting can be resumed.
