Bollywood Actress Shefali Jariwala Passes Away at 42 Due to Cardiac Arrest

Bollywood actress Shefali Jariwala has passed away at the age of 42 due to a cardiac arrest. Shefali, who became famous with the song 'Kaanta Laga', also participated in Bigg Boss 13, which further increased her popularity.

Entertainment: Shefali Jariwala, who rose to overnight fame with her superhit music video 'Kaanta Laga', passed away unexpectedly at the age of 42. Late Friday night, Shefali suddenly complained of severe chest pain, after which she was rushed to Belle Vue Multispecialty Hospital in Andheri, where doctors declared her dead. Initial reports indicated that she had suffered a cardiac arrest (heart attack).

According to hospital sources, Shefali was brought to the hospital by her husband Parag Tyagi and three others. The staff at the reception confirmed that she was already deceased when she was brought to the hospital. Her body was later sent to Cooper Hospital, where the body will be handed over to the family after the completion of the post-mortem process.

Born in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, Shefali reached the heights of fame with the 'Kaanta Laga' remix song released in 2002. Known for her bold dance moves and stylish look, she became famous as the 'Kaanta Laga Girl'. She later worked in several music videos and gained a lot of attention by participating as a contestant in the reality show Bigg Boss 13.

Husband Parag Shattered

As soon as the news of Shefali's demise came out, her husband Parag Tyagi was heartbroken. Returning from the hospital, Parag looked very sad. In a video going viral on social media, Parag was seen crying emotionally. Parag and Shefali's pair was considered a happy couple in the industry, but this tragic incident has left a deep wound in their lives.

Shefali's untimely death has shocked the entire TV and film industry. TV actor Aly Goni posted, "RIP Shefali, this is very sad." Rajiv Adatia said, "Unbelievable, she is gone too soon." Actress Monalisa expressed her grief, writing, "It doesn't feel real." Divyanka Tripathi wrote on X (formerly Twitter), "The news of Shefali has shaken me. Deepest condolences to her family."

Mourning Atmosphere Among Fans

Fans on social media are also expressing their grief at losing their favorite star. Thousands of people shared videos and photos of Shefali to pay tribute to her. Many fans wrote that her style in "Kaanta Laga" is still etched in people's hearts and she will always be remembered. Although Shefali Jariwala's career was not very long, her song 'Kaanta Laga' is still on people's tongues. The popularity of this song gave Shefali a distinct identity in the industry. Apart from acting, she also maintained her place through reality shows and dance performances.

Currently, Shefali's body has been sent for a post-mortem. Doctors say that the final confirmation will be possible only after the post-mortem report, although a heart attack is initially being considered as the cause of death. No formal statement has yet been issued by Shefali's family.
