Spider-Man: Brand New Day Leads Indian Box Office as Tuesday Collections Show Mixed Trends

Spider-Man: Brand New Day remained the strongest performer at the Indian box office on Tuesday, while Jana Nayagan continued to slow in its second week. The Odyssey and Dhamaal 4 recorded modest improvements, according to the latest reported box office figures.

Tuesday brought mixed movements at the global and Indian box office after Monday saw a slowdown in collections across most major theatrical releases. While earnings had declined at the start of the week, several films showed stability or marginal improvement on Tuesday. Prominent Hollywood, Bollywood and South Indian releases continued to attract audiences.

According to the latest box office figures, the Hollywood superhero film Spider-Man: Brand New Day remained among the best-performing titles in the Indian market. In contrast, Tamil star Vijay's Jana Nayagan continued to record a decline in earnings. Meanwhile, The Odyssey and Dhamaal 4 posted modest improvements in their Tuesday collections.

Marvel's Spider-Man: Brand New Day registered b earnings during its initial days in theatres and continues to maintain a solid hold at the box office. Although its daily collections have declined compared with the weekend, the film continues to draw audiences to cinemas. On Tuesday, it recorded an estimated India net collection of approximately ₹21.5 crore.

With this, the film's cumulative India net box office collection has crossed the ₹300 crore mark. At the global box office, the film has also received a positive response.

Tamil actor Vijay's political and social drama Jana Nayagan opened bly during its initial theatrical run. However, after entering its second week, the pace of its collections has slowed. On Tuesday, the film earned an estimated India net collection of approximately ₹2.1 crore. Despite the decline, its total domestic collection has crossed ₹180 crore.

The film has also performed well in international markets. Supported by b overseas collections, its worldwide box office total has surpassed ₹300 crore.

Director Christopher Nolan's epic film The Odyssey continues to attract audiences. The film has entered its third week in theatres while maintaining its box office presence. On Tuesday, it earned approximately ₹2.15 crore, marking a slight improvement over the previous business day. Its cumulative collection in India has crossed the ₹150 crore mark.

Comedy franchise film Dhamaal 4, starring Ajay Devgn, has maintained its theatrical run into its fourth week. The film continues to attract family audiences. On Tuesday, it registered a marginal improvement in collections, earning an estimated India net collection of approximately ₹70 lakh. Its cumulative domestic net collection has exceeded ₹160 crore.

The film is approaching the final phase of its theatrical run while continuing to record stable box office performance.
