The SSC GD Constable Result 2026 is expected to be released this week, according to various media reports. More than 48 lakh candidates who appeared for the examination are awaiting the result. Candidates who qualify will be eligible to appear for the next stages of the recruitment process, the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Standard Test (PST).
The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) will release the result on its official website, ssc.gov.in. The result will be available in PDF format as a merit list containing the names and roll numbers of successful candidates.
Candidates whose names or roll numbers appear on the merit list will be considered eligible for the next stages of the recruitment process, PET and PST. The commission does not announce a separate result date and directly publishes the result on its official website.
After the result is released, candidates can visit the official SSC website, ssc.gov.in. They can then click on the relevant result PDF link available on the homepage. After the merit list opens, candidates can search for their roll number. If the roll number appears in the list, the candidate will be considered successful in the written examination.
Along with the SSC GD Constable Result, the commission will release category-wise cutoff marks. Candidates who meet the prescribed cutoff will qualify for the next stage of the recruitment process. For candidates who qualify in the written examination, PET and PST will be the next stages. The recruitment process will subsequently proceed according to the prescribed rules.
A total of 25,487 vacancies are to be filled under SSC GD Constable Recruitment 2026. The vacancies include 616 posts in BSF, 14,595 in CISF, 5,490 in CRPF, 1,764 in SSB, 1,293 in ITBP, 1,706 in AR and 23 in SSF.
