The incident occurred when Tushar Gandhi attended a program held at a Panchayat Bhawan in Turkouli village, East Champaran. This location is historically linked to Mahatma Gandhi's first satyagraha.

Individual Alleged to be BJP Supporter Engaged in Heated Argument

During the event, an individual engaged in a heated argument with Tushar Gandhi. He told Tushar Gandhi that the Modi government and the Nitish government are doing good work, and he should acknowledge this because he is a descendant of Gandhi. The video also shows the individual saying that Tushar should be ashamed for not accepting this.

The RJD (Rashtriya Janata Dal) claims that this individual is associated with the BJP and identifies himself as belonging to Gandhi's caste. After the incident, Tushar Gandhi had to leave the Panchayat Bhawan and addressed a public gathering outside.

Tejashwi Yadav Expresses Displeasure, Offers Apology

Following the incident, former Deputy Chief Minister of Bihar and Leader of the Opposition, Tejashwi Yadav, bly reacted. Sharing a video, he apologized to Tushar Gandhi with folded hands, saying that this was an insult to Gandhian ideology. Tejashwi said that he apologizes on behalf of the people of Bihar and that this incident is highly reprehensible.

Tushar Gandhi Targets NDA Government

Speaking to journalists, Tushar Gandhi said that Bihar needs change. He stated that the promises made by the NDA government have not been fulfilled. He added that the Mahagathbandhan (Grand Alliance) could be an option, but he would hold it accountable once in power.

Sarcasm on Nitish Kumar's Politics

Commenting on Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, Tushar Gandhi said that he had suggested adding 'Satyagraha' to the name of Champaran, which Nitish had accepted, but now he has forgotten it. He said that changing ideologies and doing U-turns has become common in Nitish Kumar's politics.

'Godse's Ideology Still Alive'

In his speech, Tushar Gandhi said that it has been a long time since Bapu (Mahatma Gandhi) passed away, but Godse's ideology is still alive today. He said that today every voice of dissent is being suppressed. He called it a threat to democracy.
