The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the schedule for the UGC NET June 2026 examination. The examination, which will be conducted for 80 subjects, is scheduled to be held from June 22 to June 30, 2026, on different dates in two shifts. Candidates appearing for the examination will soon be able to download their Exam City Intimation Slip and Admit Card from the official website.
The UGC NET June 2026 examination will be conducted between June 22 and June 30, 2026, as per the detailed schedule released by NTA. The examination will be held in two shifts each day. The first shift will be conducted from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon, while the second shift will be held from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Examinations for different subjects have been scheduled on separate dates.
According to NTA, candidates will be able to access details of their allotted examination city through the Exam City Intimation Slip approximately eight to ten days before the examination date. Admit Cards will be issued separately thereafter.
The Admit Card will contain the complete address of the examination centre, examination shift, subject code, and other important instructions. Candidates have been advised to regularly check the official website for updates.
As per the examination schedule, tests for several subjects, including Visual Arts, Punjabi, Tamil, Geography, Marathi, Persian, Home Science, and Music, will be conducted on June 22. Examinations for the remaining subjects will be held on June 23, 24, 25, 29, and 30.
Separate examination dates have also been assigned for major subjects such as English, Hindi, History, Commerce, Political Science, Psychology, Sociology, Management, Environmental Studies, Statistics, and others. Candidates can refer to the official schedule to check the exact examination date and shift for their respective subjects.
