UP NEET UG Counselling 2025: Round 2 Seat Allotment Result Released, Reporting Dates Announced

The Round 2 Seat Allotment Result for UP NEET Counselling 2025 has been released. Selected candidates must report to their allotted institutes on the specified dates between September 25 and October 3, 2025. Failure to report on time will result in seat cancellation.

UP NEET Counselling 2025: The Round 2 Seat Allotment Result for UP NEET UG Counselling 2025, conducted for admission to medical and dental courses in Uttar Pradesh, has been released. Candidates who registered and filled their choices in this phase can now view their allotment results. Along with the result, the Office of Director General Medical Education and Training, UP, has also made the allotment letter available for candidates to download online.

Students who have been allotted a seat in this phase must complete the admission process by reporting on the specified dates. If a candidate fails to report within the stipulated time, their seat will automatically be considered cancelled.

Reporting Dates

Candidates allotted a seat in Round 2 must report to their respective institutes on the specified dates.

  • September 25 to 27, 2025
  • September 29 to 30, 2025
  • October 3, 2025

Candidates must reach the institute with their Allotment Letter on these dates. Failure to report may result in the allotted seat being offered to another candidate.

How to Check UP NEET Round 2 Seat Allotment Result

To view the Round 2 allotment result, candidates need to visit the official website upneet.gov.in. The process is as follows:

  • First, visit upneet.gov.in.
  • Click on the "Seat Allotment Result" link on the homepage.
  • Then, select your course.
  • Enter your Roll Number and NEET Application Number.
  • Fill in the captcha code and click on the "Get Result" button.
  • Your allotment result will now appear on the screen.
  • You can download and save it from here for future reference.

Documents Required for Admission

To complete the admission process, students must carry some important documents to the institute. Your admission will only be confirmed after the verification of these documents.

  • NEET 2025 Scorecard and Admit Card.
  • Class 10th and 12th Marksheets and Certificates.
  • Income Certificate.
  • Domicile Certificate.
  • Caste Certificate (if applicable).
  • Valid ID Proof (e.g., Aadhaar Card).
  • Colored Passport-sized Photographs.
  • Scanned Signature.
  • Transfer Certificate.
  • Disability Certificate (if applicable).

Candidates are advised to carry both original and photocopies of all documents to avoid any issues during verification.

Admission Fees

During the admission process, candidates will be required to deposit a Security Deposit. This amount is determined based on the type of institute and course.

  • INR 30,000 for seats in Government Medical Colleges.
  • INR 2,00,000 for seats in Private Medical Colleges.
  • INR 1,00,000 for seats in Private Dental Colleges.

If Reporting is Not Done

Candidates who fail to report on the specified dates will have their seats cancelled. Such candidates may also lose their opportunity in further counselling rounds. Therefore, it is crucial for students to complete the admission process at the institute on time.

Further Process

After the completion of Round 2, if seats remain vacant, the next phase, i.e., the Mop-up Round, will be conducted. The Mop-up Round will provide an opportunity to candidates who could not secure a seat in the earlier phases. Students must keep an eye on the official website for updates regarding this as well.
