Xiaomi 17T went on its first sale from 12 p.m. on Tuesday through Amazon, mi.com and offline retail stores. The smartphone features a Leica-tuned camera system, a 5x periscope telephoto lens and a 6500mAh battery. Bank discounts are also available as part of the launch offers.
The Xiaomi 17T features a Leica-tuned triple rear camera system developed in partnership with Leica. The device includes a 50MP primary camera, which the company says delivers improved detail and colour reproduction. It is accompanied by a 5x periscope telephoto lens designed to capture distant subjects with greater clarity.
According to the company, this is the first time a periscope zoom camera has been included in Xiaomi’s T-series smartphones. The device also includes Leica Live Moment and Leica Live Portrait features. Live Moment records a few seconds before a photo is captured, while Live Portrait is designed to deliver portrait shots with improved depth and natural background blur.
The smartphone is equipped with a 6.59-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The screen supports peak brightness of up to 3500 nits for improved visibility in bright outdoor conditions.
The device also carries TÜV Rheinland eye-care certification, which is intended to help reduce the impact on users’ eyes during prolonged screen use.
The Xiaomi 17T runs on Xiaomi HyperOS and includes AI-based features such as Google Gemini, Circle to Search and Xiaomi HyperAI. These features are designed to support search, productivity and overall user experience.
The Xiaomi 17T is powered by a 6500mAh silicon-carbon battery and supports 67W HyperCharge fast charging.
The smartphone is equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 8500-Ultra processor, which is designed to handle multitasking, high-end gaming and AI-powered features.
The device is available in Violet, Blue and Black colour options. The base variant is priced at ₹59,999, while the 12GB RAM and 512GB storage model is priced at ₹64,999.
