Despite warnings from villagers and the watchman, the youth attempted to cross the bridge, which was in spate. At the time of the incident, his companion, Shankar Sapera, safely crossed the river. The SDRF team stopped the rescue operation due to darkness, but the search resumed on Friday morning. The family members are in a state of shock at the scene and are demanding immediate rescue from the administration.
Rivers and Nallahs in Spate Due to Heavy Rains in Madhya Pradesh

Swept Away While Crossing the Bridge
According to information, Suresh Sapera (22), a resident of Shivkhedi Navari, was going towards Borkheda with his relative Shankar Sapera. Upon reaching the causeway-like bridge over the Parvati river at Ranayal Ghat, they noticed a b current of water flowing over it.
Villagers and the watchman tried to stop the youth, but he attempted to cross the bridge with his motorcycle. Shankar crossed the river safely on foot, but Suresh was swept away in the b current. People present at the scene started shouting and immediately informed the police.
Tilawad Police and SDRF Commence Search Operation
Upon receiving information about the incident, the Tilawad police team reached the spot. Station in-charge Munishwar Bhagat called the SDRF team, and a rescue team from Sehore arrived at the scene.
Due to darkness and the b water current, the rescue operation could not be conducted at night. The SDRF and police resumed the search operation from Friday morning. Sub-divisional officer (Revenue) Nitin Tale and sub-divisional officer (Police) Akash Amalakar also visited the scene to assess the situation and gave necessary directions.
Havoc Among Family Members and Local People
Upon learning of the youth being swept away in the river, his family members were overcome with grief. Family members and local residents gathered at the scene throughout the night. The wife of the missing youth is inconsolable and deeply distressed.
Local residents are urging the administration to commence the rescue operation immediately. Villagers from surrounding areas are also warning about the dangers of crossing the river and the bridge.
