Late Wednesday night, in the Deshanok police station area, a heavy ash-laden trailer truck lost its balance and overturned onto a car, instantly trapping all the occupants. Local authorities and rescue teams faced significant challenges in the relief operations.
Speeding Truck Claims Six Lives
According to eyewitnesses, as the car, traveling from Bikaner to Nokha, reached the railway crossing bridge near the Karni Mata Temple, a speeding trailer truck approaching from Nokha suddenly lost control and crashed onto the car. The impact resulted in the car being completely crushed under the truck's heavy load. The six occupants were trapped inside for approximately half an hour.
Upon receiving information about the accident, local police, administration, and rescue teams arrived at the scene. Three JCB machines were called in for rescue operations, and after strenuous efforts, the truck was removed. The victims were extricated from the damaged car and immediately rushed to the hospital, but doctors declared them all dead on arrival.

3. Pappuram (55), son of Gangaram
4. Shyamsunder (60), son of Chetanram
5. Dwarakaprasad (45), son of Chetanram
6. Karniram (50), son of Mohanram
ASI Charansingh, a police officer, informed that Mulchand and Pappuram were brothers, as were Shyamsunder and Dwarakaprasad. The family was returning to Nokha after attending a family function in Bikaner when this tragic accident occurred. Following the news of the accident, senior police officials, including the IG and SP, reached the scene and initiated an investigation.
