CBSE Result 2025: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is expected to announce the results for the Class 10th and 12th board examinations shortly. Approximately 4.2 million students appeared for the exams this year, with around 2.412 million in Class 10 and 1.788 million in Class 12.
When Can We Expect the CBSE Results 2025?
According to media reports and past trends, the CBSE Class 10 results may be declared between May 10th and 15th, and the Class 12 results between May 15th and 20th. However, the board has not yet officially announced any dates. Once released, the results will be available on cbse.gov.in and the DigiLocker platform.
When Were the Exams Held This Year?
CBSE Class 10 Exam 2025: February 15th to March 18th
CBSE Class 12 Exam 2025: February 15th to April 4th

Toppers List Will Not Be Released
To reduce unnecessary competition among students, CBSE has not released a toppers list for the past few years. The board will not be releasing a toppers list this year either.
Passing Marks
Students must obtain a minimum of 33% marks in each subject. Students failing one or two subjects can appear for the compartmental examination. Students unsatisfied with their marks can apply for re-evaluation.
Note: Marks obtained in the compartmental or improvement examination will be considered final; previous marks will be cancelled.
