Students in Rajasthan aspiring to enroll in B.Ed. courses have received welcome news. The Vardhaman Mahaveer Open University has extended the application deadline for the Rajasthan PTET 2025 (Pre-Teacher Education Test) from April 7th to April 17th, 2025.
Education: An important update has been announced for students seeking admission to the two-year B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education) program in Rajasthan's B.Ed. colleges. The deadline for submitting applications for the PTET 2025 exam, conducted by Vardhaman Mahaveer Open University, was initially set for April 7th, 2025, but has now been extended to April 17th, 2025.
This provides a valuable opportunity for candidates who were unable to apply by the original deadline to complete the online application process and benefit from this extension.
Eligibility Criteria – Who Can Apply?
- Applicants must have passed graduation or post-graduation from a recognized university with a minimum of 50% marks.
- Reserved category candidates (native residents of Rajasthan) are granted a minimum of 45% marks relaxation.
- The application fee is set at ₹500 for all categories.
- Online payment of the fee is mandatory.
- Applications without fee payment will be automatically rejected.
Exam Date?
The tentative date for the PTET 2025 exam is announced as June 15th, 2025. Admit cards will be made available on the website a few days before the exam.
