He stated that people are forced to sleep outside in the dirt, cold, and hunger.

In the video, Rahul Gandhi stated, "Hell outside AIIMS! Poor patients and their families from across the country are forced to sleep amidst cold, dirt, and hunger. They lack shelter, food, toilets, and drinking water." He added that it is utterly disheartening that people are living in such conditions in the 21st century.
Targeting the central and Delhi governments
Following his visit to AIIMS, Rahul Gandhi also posted on Instagram. He wrote, "The burden of illness, the biting cold, and government insensitivity. Both the central and Delhi governments have completely failed in fulfilling their responsibility towards the public." He mentioned that people arriving from far-flung areas are compelled to sleep on pavements and subways in the cold.
Highlighting the patients' suffering
A patient who met Rahul Gandhi said, "We are dying here in the cold; we don't have drinking water or food. Doctors have been sending us from pillar to post for 15 days." Rahul Gandhi supported the patient's statement and said he was there to help them.
Congress leader supports the patients' struggle
During his visit, Rahul Gandhi listened to the problems of the patients and their families and appealed to the government to resolve these issues. He stated that the government's insensitivity in such a situation will not be tolerated.
