However, in today's digital age, this tradition of sharing stories is fading. Children and adults alike learn and understand a great deal through stories. "Don't Waste Time on Meaningless Talk"
One friend asked another, "What gift did your husband give you to celebrate the birth of your child?"
The friend replied, "Nothing!"
She further questioned if this was a good thing. Did her husband not appreciate her?
"By spreading the poisonous seeds of words, she worried her friend."
Later that evening, her husband returned home to find his wife upset.
An argument ensued. They cursed each other.
Ultimately, the argument escalated to a divorce.
"Do you know where the problem started? It began with that pointless statement made by her friend who had come to inquire about her well-being."
Ravi asked his close friend Pawan, "Where do you work?"
Pawan replied, "At a fruit shop! Ravi, how do you manage your life on such a low salary?"
Pawan sighed deeply, “What can I tell you, friend?”
The conversation ended, but a few days later, Pawan demanded a salary increase and, as a result, was fired. He became unemployed. Once he had a job, now he has none.
One man said to another (who lived separately from his son), "Your son rarely comes to see you. Doesn't he love you?"
The father replied, "He's very busy. His work schedule is very demanding. He has a wife and children. He barely has any time."
The first man said, "That's ridiculous! You raised him, fulfilled all his desires, and now, because of his busy schedule, he doesn't have time for you. That's just an excuse!"
After this conversation, the father became doubtful about his son's feelings. Whenever his son visited, he kept thinking that his son had time for everyone except him.
Remember, carelessly or purposelessly spoken words have a profound impact on others. In our daily lives, many questions seem innocent but hold significant implications.
For example:
- "Why didn't you buy this?"
- "Why don't you have this?"
- "How can you spend your whole life with this person?"
- "How can you agree with him/her?"
- "Was your marriage forced? You don't seem happy together."
- "Your mother-in-law/daughter-in-law/son-in-law is very sharp..."
Such thoughtless remarks, whether made innocently or intentionally, can sow the seeds of hatred or love in someone's heart.
Let's not be those who spread such negativity.
"Enter people's homes like the blind, and leave like the mute."
