According to officials, the operation was carried out under the supervision of Additional Superintendent of Police Dudu Shivalal Bairwa and Circle Officer Dudu Deepak Khandelwal, with the team led by Maukhampura Station House Officer Suresh Kumar. A case has been registered against the accused under the NDPS Act. Police have estimated the market value of the seized poppy husk at approximately ₹1 lakh. During preliminary questioning, the accused stated that he was operating the hotel on a rental basis.

Police said further investigation is underway to determine the source of the seized narcotics and identify other individuals involved in the supply and distribution network.
