Lucknow, September 29, 2025 — The All India Muslim Personal Law Board has bly reacted to the lathi-charge (baton-charging action) in Bareilly in support of "I Love Mohammad". Board President Maulana Khalid Saifullah Rahmani termed it unjust, stating that expressing love for Prophet Mohammad is not a violation of any law.

He stated that:

Neither he nor his organization has ever objected to "Jai Shri Ram" or other religious expressions. If any government believes that an expression is going beyond the scope of the law, it should first engage in dialogue with the concerned community and its leaders.

The current action is against the spirit of the constitution and justice.

He also appealed for peace and said that such disputes should be resolved through dialogue.
