Sports News: The upcoming second Test match of Ashes 2025 is set to be very exciting for cricket fans. This match, scheduled to be played from December 4th at the Gabba in Brisbane, will be a day-night Test. This Test between Australia and England will not only determine the outcome of the series but also see several players potentially reach significant individual milestones.
In the first Test in Perth, Australia defeated England by 8 wickets in just two days, taking a 1-0 lead in the series. Now, with the second innings and the day-night Test approaching, all eyes are on Australia's star batsman, Marnus Labuschagne.

Marnus Labuschagne is on the verge of crossing the 1000-run mark in Day-Night Tests. He needs just 42 more runs to reach this special milestone. If he achieves this target, Labuschagne will become the first batsman in the history of Test cricket to score 1000 runs in Day-Night matches.
Regarding his record in Day-Night Tests, he has so far scored 958 runs in 15 innings across 9 matches, at an impressive batting average of 63.86. During this period, he has registered 4 centuries and 4 half-centuries.

England captain Joe Root is also on this list with 501 runs, but the dominance of Australian batsmen is clearly visible.
