Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader Tejashwi Yadav has been declared the Chief Minister candidate, and Vikasheel Insaan Party (VIP) President Mukesh Sahani has been named the Deputy Chief Minister candidate.

Senior Congress leader Ashok Gehlot stated that the alliance's fight is not against any individual, but against a corrupt and backward system that has kept Bihar in a state of underdevelopment. He also clarified that Congress would stand with the alliance in all circumstances.
Dipankar Bhattacharya, General Secretary of CPI-ML Liberation, said that the Grand Alliance is the voice of the poor, farmers, youth, and laborers. He asserted that the NDA only practices politics for corporates and contractors.
