BJP's Reply: Trouble Praising the Country
Dr. Syed Zafar Islam said that Rahul Gandhi is someone who finds it difficult to praise the country. He said that while Rahul and his party have weakened, the country's economy has strengthened. BJP's Claim on Tariffs and Local Consumption
Amid Rahul Gandhi's critical statement, the BJP also highlighted the b aspects of India's economy. Dr. Zafar Islam stated that India's local consumption rate is 57-58 percent. This means that the Indian economy is not export-based and the impact of global economic challenges like tariffs will be less.
He said, today, despite tariffs and global trade barriers in the world, India can easily withstand these effects. The pace at which the country's economy is moving forward, it will move forward even faster. This fact is also recognized by global rating agencies.
