Mathura / Uttar Pradesh — The Braj Teerth Vikas Parishad has unveiled plans for the construction of a substantial "Kanha Rasoi" (Kanha Kitchen) adjacent to the Nandbaba Temple in Nandgaon. This facility is designed to provide free meals to an estimated 10,000 devotees daily. The project's cost is projected to be two crore rupees, and it will span an area of approximately one hectare.

This kitchen will be situated near the Nandbaba Temple and will encompass a dining hall, a storehouse, dedicated toilet facilities, and a drinking water system. A perimeter wall will be erected to ensure the site remains organized and secure.
Meal Scope
According to the proposed scheme, free meals will be offered daily to approximately 10,000 devotees.
Number of Devotees
In 2024, Nandgaon attracted approximately 42.20 lakh devotees, a figure that included 2,262 foreign pilgrims.
Status and Administrative Initiative
S.B. Singh, CEO of the Braj Teerth Vikas Parishad, confirmed that the proposal has been prepared and will soon be submitted to the state government for approval. Furthermore, discussions are ongoing with various organizations regarding potential collaborations for the project.
