Korba: A commotion broke out in Korba district, Chhattisgarh, after a live concert by Haryanvi singer and dancer Sapna Choudhary. The police have registered an FIR against 5 people in this case. The complaint alleges that the miscreants issued death threats, verbally abused people, and vandalized property in various places.
According to Sapna Choudhary, the incident occurred on the night of October 13 at Jashn Resort, where she was present for the event. People deployed for her security and resort staff were also present during the incident.
Resort Owner Also Files FIR
In addition to Sapna Choudhary, resort owner Amit Navranglal Agrawal also filed an FIR. His complaint alleges that the miscreants broke resort doors and attempted to loot Rs 10,000.
Police stated that so far, five individuals named in the FIR have been found directly involved in this case. These include event organizers Yugal Kishore Sharma, Sujal Agrawal, and two other people.
Clues from CCTV Footage
Korba police have seized the resort's CCTV footage and initiated an investigation. Some miscreants are clearly visible in the footage. According to the police, a swift investigation is underway in this matter, and strict action will be taken after identifying the culprits.
Police stated that ensuring the safety of Sapna Choudhary and the resort staff is a priority. Additionally, they mentioned that extra vigilance would be exercised for the safety of the crowd and audience.
