This ensures that the infrastructure for skill-based education remains b and that students continue to receive training in vocational subjects. Previously, these teachers were employed on a year-to-year contract basis, but now they have been given relief for a longer period.

The direct beneficiaries of this decision are the 410 part-time vocational teachers working in Delhi government schools. Among them, 402 teachers are considered eligible, while 8 teachers fall into the non-eligible category. When Did the Part-time Vocational Teachers Begin?

Their aim has been to provide skill-based training to students during their schooling so that they can be better prepared for future employment opportunities.

Training Being Provided Under NSQF

Currently, all these teachers are providing training to students from classes 9 to 12 under the NSQF (National Skill Qualification Framework). NSQF is a skill development program implemented by CBSE, which aims to provide professional training to students during their school time. It provides training in various fields such as hospitality, tourism, IT, and retail.
