Delhi Schools Evacuated After Bomb Threat Emails

Delhi School Bomb Threat: Panic erupted in Delhi on Monday morning when two prominent schools received email threats of a bomb attack. These schools are the Navy School located in Chanakyapuri and the CRPF Public School located in Dwarka. Upon receiving the emails, Delhi Police immediately became alert and dispatched bomb disposal squads and dog squads to both schools.

Students Moved to Safe Locations

Keeping safety in mind, both schools were immediately evacuated. Police said that all students and staff were moved to safe locations. The bomb disposal squad and dog squad, which arrived at the scene, conducted a thorough search of the entire school premises. No suspicious items have been found in either school so far.

What the Police Said

According to Delhi Police, the Navy School and the CRPF Public School received an email on Monday morning stating that a bomb had been planted in the school. Both schools, located in Chanakyapuri and Dwarka, were immediately evacuated. Bomb disposal squads and dog squads, along with local police and PCR teams, were present at both locations.

Dwarka Police Provided Information

Dwarka Police informed that on July 14th, the Dwarka North police station received information via a PCR call that an email had been received threatening a bomb attack on the CRPF school. A search operation was immediately launched following this. The police investigated the school premises but found nothing suspicious.

Such Threats Have Been Received Before

Delhi Police stated that such threats have been received by several schools in the NCR region before. This time too, the threat was made via email, which was taken seriously. The police said that no such threat can be ignored, even if it turns out to be false.

The Delhi Police's cyber cell is working to trace the source of this threatening email. The investigation is ongoing to determine from where and by whom the email was sent.
