On the fourth day, we dedicate ourselves to the energy of Mata Kushmanda and the power of light in life. On this occasion, we spoke with Indian pop singer and actress Dhvani Bhanushali. Dhvani Bhanushali shared how she maintained her strength and positive energy in every situation, despite criticism and difficult circumstances.
Her Light Continued to Shine Even in the Rain
Dhvani shared her experience, saying, "I had a concert in Bengaluru, and it was raining heavily that day. Despite this, about 3-4 thousand people were dancing and cheering me on. Their energy was so immense that it felt like light was spreading everywhere. In that moment, I realized that when our energy is directed to the right place, it makes life even more beautiful."
Navratri has always been special for Dhvani. She mentioned that she has never performed a Navratri concert, but has played Garba many times. The joy and energy she gets from dancing with the crowd is nothing short of magic for her. This Navratri, she wishes that the entire festive spirit is felt from the stage and that this joy reaches everyone.
Challenges in the Early Days of Her Career
Dhvani shared that in the early days of her career, she used to be affected by every comment and opinion. "It used to drain my energy. I felt like I had to live up to everyone's expectations. But gradually, I understood that my strength is valuable and it's important to direct it to the right place – into my songs, concerts, and my own happiness. The same strength that once made me weak has now become my resilience."
She also added that instead of being afraid of trolling, one should take it positively. "At least people are mentioning my name, and that is also a form of recognition."
Being Fearless Means – Shining Your Own Light
Dhvani explained, "For me, being fearless doesn't mean not feeling fear, but rather letting your light shine, no matter how many difficulties you face. Every day I tell myself – move forward, illuminate your path, and walk towards your dreams. This is the way to keep life happy. A little courage, sticking to a decision, or taking a risk, can sometimes change an entire day. Our positivity can reach others and bring magic into life."
Dhvani Bhanushali stated that she feels most alive when she performs. "Every show is an opportunity for me to spread positivity and happiness. For me, music is the medium through which light reaches everyone." She also shared that during Navratri, she wants to focus solely on the process and energy, letting go of worries about results. "True happiness comes when we share our energy and light with others and make every day brighter."
