This time, the Durand Cup 2025 matches will be played in 5 major cities in the country. These cities include Kolkata, Guwahati, Imphal, Bhubaneswar, and New Delhi. The first match of the tournament will be played at the Salt Lake Stadium in Kolkata. The date for the final match of the Durand Cup has also been set. Last year, 12 teams from the Indian Super League (ISL) were included, whereas this time only 6 ISL teams will participate in this tournament.

Huge Increase in Prize Money, Now ₹3 Crore Will Be Awarded

There has been a tremendous increase in the prize money for the Durand Cup 2025. Where the winning team previously received ₹1.2 crore, it has now been increased to ₹3 crore. This decision has been taken to make the tournament more competitive and attractive. In addition:
