Gorakhpur is witnessing rapid progress in the extensive construction of roads and flyovers, with nine major four-lane road and flyover projects expected to be completed by March 2026. Upon completion, these projects will expedite vehicular movement and ensure accident-free travel.
The pace of road construction has accelerated under the direct supervision of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. The nine projects encompass four-lane roads, along with the construction of four flyovers.
Among the key projects is the Deoria Bypass four-lane road, which is targeted for completion by March 2026.
A total investment of approximately ₹399.24 crore will be made in the four-lane roads, and the construction work is in its final stages.
The completion of these roads and flyovers will alleviate congestion and traffic jams in Gorakhpur city. This will improve road connectivity and provide people with a faster and safer travel experience.
Officials express confidence that all these major projects will be completed within the next four months, bringing about a positive transformation in Gorakhpur’s road network.
