Gurugram Tennis Coach Radhika Yadav Murdered by Father; Motive Unclear Despite Confession. Was it taunts from villagers or financial troubles?
Radhika Yadav Murder Case: The murder of Radhika Yadav has shocked everyone. In this case, the accused, her father Deepak Yadav, has confessed to the crime. He shot his daughter and is now demanding the death penalty for himself in court. However, the real reason behind this murder has yet to be revealed. The question is whether taunts from the villagers truly forced a father to take such a step, or if the truth is something else entirely.
No Objectionable Posts on Instagram
Radhika's Instagram account was private. She had only 69 followers and followed 67 people. All were acquaintances, including friends and coaches. She had posted a total of 6 posts. The last post was from April 2025, featuring an ad shoot. There was nothing in her posts that would upset any parent. Therefore, it would be wrong to consider social media as the reason for the murder.
FIR Cites Taunts as a Reason
The FIR states that Deepak Yadav was troubled by the taunts of the villagers. He was accused of living off his daughter's earnings. However, according to the people of Wazirabad village, Deepak and his family are quite influential. His monthly income was 20 to 22 lakh rupees from rent. In such a case, why would he need his daughter's money? The villagers also say that no one dared to taunt Deepak.
Doubts Over Radhika's Earnings and Academy
Initially, it was said that Radhika had opened a tennis academy in Gurugram. But the truth is that she had not opened a permanent academy. She used to rent different tennis academies to coach children. In such a case, the claim that Radhika's earnings were so high that her father was dependent on her also weakens.
No Affair, No Family Tension
The investigation so far has not revealed any love affair of Radhika. A name was linked with a young man named Inamul in connection with an old music video, but he has been in Dubai for a long time, and their relationship was purely professional.
Some reports claimed that the family had imposed restrictions on Radhika. However, the facts show that she had traveled abroad several times to participate in tennis tournaments. If the family was so strict, how would foreign travel have been possible?
Murder Planned? Friend's Claim
Radhika's friend Himanshika claimed in a video that Deepak Yadav had already planned the murder. Radhika's brother was sent out of the house that day, and her pet dog was also kept away.
What Happened on the Morning of the Murder
On the morning of July 10, at 10:30 AM, Radhika's uncle, Kuldeep Yadav, heard the sound of a gunshot. When he went upstairs, he found Radhika lying in the kitchen covered in blood. A licensed revolver, in the name of Deepak Yadav, was found nearby. A total of five bullets had been fired from the revolver.
Who Was at Home
At the time of the murder, Deepak, his wife Manju, and Radhika were at home. Manju was lying in another room due to a fever. The son, Dheeraj, was not at home. Deepak initially said that he was out for property work, but CCTV footage revealed that he had gone to the village to buy milk.
