Haryana Roadways Launches Direct Bus Service from Faridabad-Ballabgarh to Ayodhya

Haryana Roadways' new direct bus service from Faridabad-Ballabgarh to Ayodhya begins today. The bus will reach Ayodhya via NIT Faridabad, Palwal, Agra, Kanpur, and Lucknow. Fares and timetables have already been determined.

Faridabad: Haryana Roadways has launched a new inter-state bus service from Faridabad-Ballabgarh to Ayodhya starting Friday, October 17. This step has been taken considering improved connectivity between states and the convenience of passengers. Shiksha, GM of Faridabad Roadways Depot, stated that this new service will save people time during travel and provide a comfortable journey.

Under this service, the bus will depart from Faridabad Mangal Sen Bus Stand at 4:15 PM. It will reach Ballabgarh at 5:00 PM, Palwal at 5:30 PM, Agra at 9:30 PM, Kanpur at 3:30 AM, Lucknow at 5:00 AM, and Ayodhya at 8:00 AM.

Bus Route and Stopage Information

The bus route has been set as Faridabad-Mangal Sen Bus Stand, Ballabgarh, Palwal, Agra, Kanpur, Lucknow, and Ayodhya. The return journey will start from Ayodhya at 5:00 PM, reaching Lucknow at 8:00 PM, Kanpur at 9:30 PM, Agra at 3:00 AM, and concluding at Ballabgarh at 8:45 AM.

This route provides passengers direct access to major cities and tourist destinations in the states. Additionally, buses will only stop at designated government rest areas and toll plazas along the route.

Fixed Fares and Facilities

Haryana Roadways has also fixed the fares for this new bus service. The fare from Ballabgarh to Agra is set at ₹234, Etawah at ₹₹427, Kanpur at ₹650, and Ayodhya at ₹983. The same rates will apply for the return journey from Ayodhya.

Passengers will receive facilities such as comfortable seats, air conditioning, and breaks at regular stops. This will make long-distance travel safe and convenient.

Ban on Stopping at Private Dhaba Restaurants

Haryana Roadways has also clarified that inter-state buses will no longer stop at private dhaba restaurants. Officials stated that previously, some drivers and conductors would take passengers to private dhabas for meals, leading to overcharging and inconvenience for passengers, contrary to their rights.

Now, buses will only stop at government dhaba restaurants, rest areas, designated roadside stops, and toll plazas. Disciplinary action will be taken if any irregularity is found.
