Nationwide 'Healthy Woman, Strong Family' Campaign Launched on PM Modi's Birthday

On Prime Minister Narendra Modi's birthday, the 'Swasth Nari, Sashakt Parivar' (Healthy Woman, Strong Family) campaign was launched across the country. From September 17 to October 2, over one lakh health camps will offer free treatment and vaccination facilities to women, adolescent girls, and children.

New Delhi. Prime Minister Narendra Modi's birthday always holds special significance across the nation. Every year on September 17, various social and governmental programs are organized to celebrate his birthday. This year, his 75th birthday brings a significant gift for women and children across the country. 

The Prime Minister has initiated a historic health campaign across the country today, named 'Swasth Nari, Sashakt Parivar'. This program will run from September 17 to October 2, and under its umbrella, more than one lakh health camps will be organized throughout India. These camps will address health and nutritional issues of women, adolescent girls, and children.

What is the 'Swasth Nari, Sashakt Parivar' Campaign?

Launched on the occasion of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's birthday, this campaign is dedicated to women's and child health. It is being jointly run by two major ministries of the country—the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare and the Ministry of Women and Child Development. Its aim is to provide better and free health services to women, adolescent girls, and children. The campaign duration has been set from September 17 to October 2, allowing more people to participate.

The government believes that when women are healthy, the family will be b, and when the family is b, the foundation of society and the nation will be even more robust. This is the reason why this scheme has been named 'Swasth Nari, Sashakt Parivar'.

How Will the Health Camps Function?

Under the campaign, more than one lakh health camps will be organized daily across the country. These camps will be held at government hospitals and health centers. The specialty of these camps is that they will include all the specialist doctors that women and children most require.
