Jana Nayakan Reaches ₹149.50 Crore in First Week as The Odyssey and Dhamaal 4 Maintain Box Office Run

Wednesday was relatively quiet at the Indian box office, with several major releases posting slower or steady collections after b runs in recent days. Thalapathy Vijay's Jana Nayakan, Christopher Nolan's The Odyssey and Ajay Devgn-starrer Dhamaal 4 continued to attract audiences, although business slowed during the middle of the week.

The combined performance of these films indicates that audience interest has continued, with collections potentially regaining momentum over the coming weekend.

Jana Nayakan, starring Tamil superstar and Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Thalapathy Vijay, remains one of the most talked-about films at the Indian box office. The film is regarded as the final release of Vijay's acting career, contributing to heightened audience interest.

The film opened with ₹42.70 crore on its first day, followed by ₹21.15 crore on the second day and ₹28.90 crore on the third day. It maintained a b performance over its opening weekend before collections gradually declined after the start of the weekdays.

On its seventh day of release, Wednesday, the film earned approximately ₹6.10 crore. With this, Jana Nayakan has recorded an estimated first-week India net collection of around ₹149.50 crore. Although its earnings have slowed compared with the opening days, the film continues to hold its position at the box office.

Christopher Nolan's Hollywood film The Odyssey has continued to remain popular among Indian audiences. Inspired by historical and mythological elements, the film has received positive responses from both critics and audiences and has maintained a steady performance in its second week.

After earning approximately ₹4.15 crore on Tuesday, the film collected around ₹4.25 crore on Wednesday.

Following 13 days in theatres, The Odyssey has reached an estimated India net collection of approximately ₹132.50 crore. The film is also performing well in overseas markets.

Dhamaal 4, the latest instalment in the comedy franchise, has continued its run in cinemas. Starring Ajay Devgn and directed by Indra Kumar, the film has remained popular among family audiences.

Despite entering its third week, the film has retained its theatrical presence. It collected ₹2.25 crore on Tuesday before its earnings declined on Wednesday.

According to reports, Dhamaal 4 earned approximately ₹1.50 crore on its 20th day of release. Its total India box office collection has reached around ₹155 crore.
