Manoj Bajpayee and Ram Gopal Varma Reunite for Horror-Comedy 'Bhoot Police Station' with Genelia D'Souza

27 years after the cult classic Satya, actor Manoj Bajpayee and director Ram Gopal Varma have reunited, this time bringing a horror-comedy to the audience titled 'Bhoot Police Station'. Genelia Deshmukh is also playing a lead role in this film.

Entertainment: The acclaimed actor Manoj Bajpayee and director Ram Gopal Varma are coming together again after 27 years. After the 1998 cult classic film 'Satya', both are now set to present a film in a completely different genre to the audience. This time, it is a horror-comedy titled 'Bhoot Police Station', in which Genelia D'Souza Deshmukh will star alongside Manoj Bajpayee in the lead role. Recently, the film's first look and motion poster were released, which garnered significant attention on social media.

Film's First Look and Poster

On Monday, Manoj Bajpayee shared the film's first motion poster. In it, he is seen holding a blood-stained doll. A scary voice can be heard in the background saying, "I am watching you." The poster also features the film's intriguing tagline: "You cannot arrest the dead."

Sharing the poster, Manoj wrote: "Shooting for Bhoot Police Station begins. From Satya until now, some journeys are meant to be completed. I am extremely thrilled to reunite with Ram Gopal Varma after almost three decades for our new horror-comedy."

Genelia D'Souza's Entry

In this film, Genelia D'Souza will be seen in the horror-comedy genre for the first time. She also shared the poster on her social media, writing, "Stepping into a world where fear and fun blend for the first time. Sharing screen space with Manoj Bajpayee in Ram Gopal Varma's directorial 'Bhoot Police Station' has been a terrifying yet exciting experience for me. The film's plot is quite unique, based on a question – when we are scared, we run to the police. But where will the police run when they are scared?"

Although not much has been revealed about the story, the film's tagline and first look clearly indicate that it will be a unique blend of fear and laughter. The basic idea of the film is: what will the police officers stationed at a police station do if paranormal forces surround it? Whom will they seek help from? This question will make the film's story engaging and entertaining.

Ram Gopal Varma's 1998 film 'Satya' changed the definition of gangster films in Bollywood. In this film, Manoj Bajpayee won everyone's hearts by playing the character of Bhiku Mhatre. Now, after almost three decades, both are working together again, but this time in a horror-comedy. Audiences are quite excited about this unique collaboration.
