Meerut, September 28, 2025 — To preserve the memories of Lata Mangeshkar, the 'Goddess of Melody', Meerut resident Gaurav Sharma has developed his own house into a private museum. Here, his collection includes diverse materials related to Lata ji — audio-video cassettes, books, magazines, and rare articles — preserved in large numbers.

His collection includes over 5000 articles, approximately 2000 or more DVD – VCR cassettes, thousands of books, and a vast repository of Lata ji's photographs. He wishes for this private museum to receive public recognition, so that the new generation gets an opportunity to learn about her life story.
