NEET UG 2025 Result: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially declared the results for the NEET Undergraduate (NEET UG) 2025 examination. A total of 2,209,318 students participated in this medical entrance examination held across the country on May 4th. Of these, 1,236,531 candidates have qualified. Students can now download their scorecards from the official website, neet.nta.nic.in.
List of Top Rankers
This year, Mahesh Kumar from Rajasthan secured All India Rank (AIR) 1 in NEET UG 2025 with a percentile score of 99.9999547. Utkarsh Avadhiya from Madhya Pradesh secured AIR 2 with a percentile of 99.999095, and Krishang Joshi from Maharashtra achieved AIR 3 with a percentile of 99.9998189. This list of top rankers demonstrates exceptional performance in the pursuit of medical careers.
Girls Dominate Again
This year, a total of 1,271,896 girls appeared for the NEET UG examination, out of which 722,462 girls qualified. Meanwhile, out of 937,411 boys, 514,063 qualified. Furthermore, out of 11 students from the third gender category, 6 successfully qualified. These figures indicate a continuous rise in the participation of girls in the medical field.
Examination Centers and Organization
The NEET UG 2025 examination was conducted at 4,750 exam centers across 557 cities in India, and also at 14 international centers abroad. The participation of such a large number of students reflects the widespread reach and competitiveness of NEET.
How to Check Your NEET UG 2025 Result
To check their NEET UG 2025 scorecard, candidates must first visit the NTA website, neet.nta.nic.in. On the homepage, click on the 'NEET(UG)-2025 Result' link in the 'Candidate Activity' section. Then, enter their application number and date of birth to view and download their scorecard. Candidates are advised to keep a printout of the scorecard for future procedures.
Answer Key and Counseling Information
Along with the NEET UG results, the final answer key has also been released. Qualified students can now participate in the counseling process for admission to medical courses. The Medical Counseling Committee (MCC) and the respective state authorities will soon release the schedule for UG medical counseling. Detailed information will be available on the NTA or MCC websites.
