Tiruchi Siva: Preparations for the Vice-Presidential election have begun in the country. The NDA has finalized its candidate, but the suspense remains regarding who the opposition candidate will be. Media reports and political analysts are focused on which name the opposition will put forward. Meanwhile, speculations about DMK MP Tiruchi Siva's name have intensified.

For the post of Vice-President, the NDA has declared CP Radhakrishnan, the Governor of Maharashtra, as its candidate. CP Radhakrishnan has previously served as the Governor of Tamil Nadu. On the other hand, no official announcement has been made by the opposition so far.

Uddhav Faction Clarifies Stance

In Maharashtra, Shiv Sena's Uddhav Thackeray faction MP Arvind Sawant, while speaking to the media, said that the opposition leaders will sit together and discuss this and decide on a candidate. He clarified that no final decision has been made until now. When ANI questioned him if the opposition has considered any names, he said not yet. The opposition leaders will meet soon and only after that will a name emerge.

Who is Tiruchi Siva?

Tiruchi Siva is a senior DMK (Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam) MP and represents in the Rajya Sabha. His political career is linked to Tamil Nadu politics. He has been an active member of the DMK party for a long time and is considered to have a b hold within the party.
