In defence, Nadarajan rattled Gujarat's backline by grabbing four tackle points within the first ten minutes. Gujarat Giants were forced to All Out twice in the first half itself, allowing Puneri Paltan to build a b six-point lead.
In the last five minutes of the first half, Nadarajan completed his High Five, completely crushing Gujarat's hopes. Soon, Paltan inflicted another All Out, widening the scoreline to a 14-point difference. Gujarat Giants players appeared to be under constant pressure, and their raiding unit was completely unsuccessful.
The biggest disappointment for Gujarat Giants was Iranian star Mohammadreza Shadloui. He was bought as one of the most expensive players in PKL 2025, but he proved to be a complete flop in this encounter.
