Rahul Gandhi Leads Grand Alliance Voter Rights March in Patna

Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi, has arrived at the historic Gandhi Maidan in Patna, where he paid floral tribute to the statue of the Father of the Nation, Mahatma Gandhi. Following this, Rahul Gandhi will proceed to Ambedkar Chowk with senior leaders of the Grand Alliance.

Bihar Election 2025: The Voter Rights March by Rahul Gandhi and Tejashwi Yadav in Patna is nearing its conclusion. Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi, has already reached the historic Gandhi Maidan in Patna. Here, he paid floral tribute to the statue of the Father of the Nation, Mahatma Gandhi. After this, Rahul Gandhi and senior leaders of the Grand Alliance will proceed towards Ambedkar Chowk.

Congress National President Mallikarjun Kharge is also participating in this march. The party has also publicly released the details of his official program.

Grand Alliance's Show of Strength

This 'Voter Rights March' organized in Patna is being considered a significant show of strength by the Grand Alliance ahead of the elections. A large number of workers and supporters have gathered at Gandhi Maidan. The state president, Rajesh Ram, welcomed his leaders at the airport, and the march is about to begin shortly. This is the concluding phase of the 16-day Voter Rights March. During this time, Rahul Gandhi and Tejashwi Yadav will address their supporters.

The district administration has not permitted Rahul Gandhi and other leaders to proceed to Ambedkar Chowk near the High Court due to security reasons. Therefore, the leaders have set up a stage at Dakbunglow Chowk. This stage is located in a busy part of the city and is cordoned off by security forces from all sides. From the stage, Rahul Gandhi and other leaders of the Grand Alliance will address their workers and supporters.

Strict Security Arrangements

Security arrangements have been made extremely tight in Dakbunglow Chowk and its surrounding areas. A large number of armed and civil police personnel have been deployed. Outside the security cordon, workers and party leaders from all parties allied with the Grand Alliance are continuously arriving with flags and banners. The objective of the security arrangements is not only to ensure the safety of the leaders but also to prevent any untoward incidents. The administration has made special arrangements in the area considering traffic and local order.
