Ravi Dubey and Sargun Mehta are preparing to produce a pan-India film under their production banner Dreamiyata Entertainment. The project will feature Sargun Mehta in the lead role and is planned for release across India after beginning its rollout from Punjab. According to Ravi Dubey, the film will explore a genre that has not yet been fully explored for audiences across the country.
Dubey stated that the production team is currently working on the script and music for the film and that project assets have already been prepared. He said the aim is to present an experience that combines entertainment with a distinct cinematic approach. The project represents an expansion of Dreamiyata Entertainment’s ambitions within the film industry and reflects the company’s effort to strengthen its presence beyond television and digital platforms.
Dreamiyata Entertainment has previously produced projects across television, digital platforms, and film. On television, the company has presented shows including “Udaariyaan,” “Swaran Ghar,” and “Tu Juliet Jatt Di.” On the digital platform Dreamiyata Drama, the content catalogue has recorded more than 1.1 billion views and over 9 billion minutes of watch time.
In addition to film and digital productions, the company has also released original music. Its song “Ve Haaniyaan” has crossed more than 700 million streams.
Alongside the film project, Ravi Dubey is also set to portray the character Lakshman in the epic Ramayana. The role marks his entry into mythological storytelling while the new film initiative signals Dreamiyata Entertainment’s intention to extend its production activities to a broader pan-India audience and bring its television and digital success to the big screen.
