A farmers' conference was held in the Rampur block of Kaimur district on Wednesday, July 2, 2025. RJD MP Sudhakar Singh from Buxar and the party's national spokesperson Subodh Mehta attended the event.
RJD Leader Spoke On BJP-JDU: Political rhetoric has once again heated up the atmosphere in Bihar's politics. Sudhakar Singh, RJD MP from Buxar, made a significant claim, stating that after the upcoming assembly elections, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar's party, the JDU, would completely merge with the Bharatiya Janata Party. He said that currently, the JDU and BJP are contesting elections separately to mislead the public, but in reality, they are two sides of the same coin, and there will be no difference between them after the elections.
Sudhakar Singh made this statement during the farmers' conference held in the Rampur block of Kaimur district. Party's national spokesperson Subodh Mehta was also present on the stage with him.
Sudhakar Singh's Sharp Attacks - 'Conspiracy Hidden Behind the Nitish-Modi Duo'
During the event, Sudhakar Singh said that the people of Bihar must understand that a vote given to the JDU will ultimately go to the BJP. Both are doing electoral theater to deceive the public. He said that the pictures of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and Prime Minister Narendra Modi put up in Patna clearly show that the JDU has now become a nominal party. He claimed that as soon as the elections are over, the JDU will directly merge with the BJP, and the public should recognize this truth.
Promise of Free Electricity if RJD Government is Formed
Speaking on the problems of farmers, Sudhakar Singh said that if the RJD government is formed in Bihar, a roadmap will be prepared to double the income of farmers. He promised that farmers would be given free electricity, the mandi law would be implemented, and concrete plans would be made to reduce farming expenses.
Sudhakar Singh also said that upon the formation of our government in Bihar, a 100% domicile policy will be implemented to give priority to the youth of Bihar in employment.
Allegations of Errors in Voter List
Sudhakar Singh also questioned the Election Commission. He said that the BJP is conspiring to cut votes of the poor, Dalits, Mahadalits, and backward classes in Bihar, on the lines of Delhi and Maharashtra. He alleged that under the guise of updating the voter list, documents like high school certificates and birth certificates are being demanded to remove people from the list.
He said, We will bly oppose this conspiracy. The RJD will struggle at every level to ensure that no poor, Dalit, or backward person is deprived of the right to vote.
Targeting Dhirendra Shastri
Sudhakar Singh also reacted to the recent statement by storyteller Dhirendra Shastri. He said that any statement that does not talk about equality and fairness reflects a mindset of dominance. He said, We respect religious leaders, but when someone glorifies a particular caste, it breaks social harmony. We should be careful of such views.”
This statement by Sudhakar Singh has sparked a new debate in Bihar's politics. Questions have often been raised about the relationship between the JDU and the BJP, and discussions about Nitish Kumar's U-turns have been common. In such a situation, this claim by the RJD MP has increased the stir in political circles.
