A social media dispute turned violent in Pipli village, Sonipat. Liquor mafia Bhupender Dahiya opened fire at the home of former Sarpanch Ram Niwas, injuring a youth named Naveen. The incident was captured on CCTV.

Sonipat: A dispute that began on social media took a violent turn in Pipli village of Haryana's Sonipat district. Liquor mafia Bhupender Dahiya opened fire at the residence of former Sarpanch Ram Niwas alias Gabbar, severely injuring a youth named Naveen. The injured person is currently undergoing treatment at Rohtak PGI.

CCTV footage captured the high-handedness of accused Bhupender Dahiya and his associates. The police are thoroughly investigating the matter, also considering the long-standing dispute between both parties.

Social Media Dispute Turns Violent

According to information, a dispute arose between Ram Niwas and Bhupender Dahiya on social media. Ram Niwas targeted Bhupender over the operation of liquor vends and other activities.

The initial online spat quickly escalated into a violent confrontation. Bhupender's brother and several of his associates first attacked Ram Niwas. However, Ram Niwas managed to escape and fled to America. Later, he was deported from America, arrested by the police, and subsequently released on bail.

Youth Injured in Bhupender Dahiya's Attack

This morning, Bhupender Dahiya and his henchmen attacked Ram Niwas's house. Ram Niwas was not present there, but a youth named Naveen, who was inside the house, was shot. The injured person is undergoing treatment at Rohtak PGI, and his condition is reported to be stable.

The CCTV footage clearly showed that the accused's assertiveness and use of weapons were far more serious than a common quarrel. The police have started investigating all aspects of the incident and stated that all accused will be arrested soon.

Dispute with Former Sarpanch over Liquor

Bhupender Dahiya was involved in the sale of liquor worth crores of rupees from the storeroom of Kharkhoda police station during the lockdown. After winning the bid and purchasing a liquor vends located in Pipli, former Sarpanch Ram Niwas began harassing Bhupender.

During this dispute, there had been several previous confrontations between both parties. Ram Niwas had been attacked before, and that case was under police surveillance. After coming out of jail, the dispute between both sides further escalated on social media, ultimately leading to violent firing.

Police Investigation Underway

ACP Rajpal stated that a thorough investigation is being conducted into the old dispute and the recent social media conflict between both parties. The police are investigating the case, keeping all aspects in mind.

The police stated that security arrangements would be further strengthened to prevent such disputes in the future. Additionally, efforts are being made to identify and arrest the accused and their associates.
