A speeding car collided with a stationary truck in Jharkhand’s Chatra district, killing one युवक and seriously injuring three others. The impact badly damaged the car, requiring a JCB to remove the vehicle and rescue those trapped inside.
The car was reportedly travelling at high speed when it collided with the truck parked along or on the road. The front portion of the car was severely damaged in the collision with the heavy vehicle.
After hearing the impact, local residents reached the spot and began efforts to rescue the people trapped inside the car. Police also reached the accident site after receiving information and joined the rescue operation.
The severity of the accident required a JCB to remove the damaged car. The vehicle was in such a condition that it was difficult to take out the trapped occupants by normal means.
With the assistance of local residents and police, the car was removed using a JCB. The injured were then taken out and arrangements were made to send them to hospital for treatment.
One युवक died in the accident, while three other occupants of the car sustained serious injuries. They were immediately sent to hospital for treatment in view of their condition.
There was also a possibility that the seriously injured people could be referred for better medical facilities. After receiving information about the accident, their relatives began arriving at the hospital.

High speed is being considered a preliminary cause of the accident, although the actual reason will become clear after the police investigation is completed. One युवक has been confirmed dead and three injured people are undergoing treatment.
