SSC has increased the number of posts in MTS and Havaldar Recruitment 2025 from 5464 to 8021. This includes 6810 posts for MTS and 1211 for Havaldar. The examination will be held from September 20 to October 24.
SSC MTS 2025: A significant update has come regarding one of the most popular recruitments by the Staff Selection Commission (SSC), the SSC MTS and Havaldar Recruitment 2025. Earlier, recruitments were to be made for 5464 posts in this recruitment, but now the number of posts has been increased to 8021. This will directly benefit thousands of candidates who are preparing for this recruitment.
SSC Increases Posts, Offering a Great Opportunity to Candidates
As per the new notification issued by SSC, recruitments will now be made for 6810 posts for Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS) and 1211 posts for Havaldar in this recruitment. Previously, only 4375 posts were allocated for MTS and 1089 for Havaldar. However, after adding 2557 new posts, the total number of posts has now reached 8021.
This change comes as a major relief for all candidates who have already applied or are engaged in preparing for this examination. The increased number of posts has further enhanced the opportunities for selection.
Examination Dates
SSC had already announced that the examination for this recruitment would be conducted from September 20 to October 24, 2025. This examination will be held in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode at various examination centers across the country.
- The Exam City Slip can be released anytime, allowing candidates to check their exam city details in advance.
- The Admit Card will be released 3 to 4 days before the examination date.
All candidates will be able to download their admit cards only through the online mode. No admit cards will be sent offline or by post to anyone.
Exam Pattern
The pattern of the SSC MTS and Havaldar recruitment examination will remain the same as before this time. The examination will be in two parts –
Paper 1
- Numerical & Mathematical Ability – 20 Questions
- Reasoning Ability & Problem Solving – 20 Questions
Paper 2
- General Awareness – 25 Questions
- English Language & Comprehension – 25 Questions
Candidates will be given 45 minutes to complete each paper.
Application Process and Fees
The application process for this recruitment was held from June 26 to July 24, 2025. All candidates were given a chance to deposit the fees by July 25 after filling the form.
SSC also provided an opportunity to correct errors in the form. For this, a correction window was opened from July 29 to July 31.
