In this post, he wrote: “Life Update: Sports hernia surgery was performed in the lower right abdomen. It is a pleasure to inform that after a successful surgery, I am on the path of recovery and eagerly awaiting my return to the cricket field.
Following this update, his fans, people from the cricket world, and players of Team India wished him a speedy recovery. According to BCCI sources, Suryakumar Yadav’s recovery may take approximately 6 to 12 weeks. In this situation, it is unlikely that he will play in the upcoming tour to Bangladesh, which includes 3 One Day Internationals and 3 T20 matches starting on August 26th. The team management is focusing on getting him fully fit so that he can be fully prepared for the T20 World Cup 2026, which will be held in India and Sri Lanka in February-March.
