Tej Pratap Yadav, elder son of RJD supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav, has hinted at his political plans following the results of the Bihar Assembly elections. Tej Pratap Yadav clarified that he has no enmity with anyone and will decide his future political path only after the counting of votes on November 14.
Patna: Tej Pratap Yadav, chief of Jan Shakti Janata Dal and elder son of Lalu Yadav, has indicated that he will make political decisions after the results of the Bihar Assembly elections. He stated, "Where we will go, we will decide after the results come on the 14th." Tej Pratap Yadav also clarified that he has no enmity with anyone, and if someone considers him an enemy, that could be their personal matter.
His focus is primarily on taking issues to the public and establishing dialogue among common people, rather than on political opposition or animosity.
Big Decision After the 14th
In a conversation with the media, Tej Pratap Yadav said, "We have no enmity with anyone. If someone considers us an enemy, that is their concern. We are going among the public with issues, and after the 14th, we will decide where we will go." This statement has become a topic of discussion in political circles, and it is believed that Tej Pratap Yadav is planning to take careful steps regarding the upcoming elections and the Mahagathbandhan's (Grand Alliance) strategy.

Tej Pratap stated that he is currently touring the Mahua constituency and will tour all of Bihar after Chhath. He emphasized, "In Mahua, I have no competition; the public is with us. The problems in Bihar – murder, migration, unemployment – these will remain the issues. Whether Akhilesh Yadav comes or anyone else, we are capable on our own. We are a star campaigner in ourselves. We are a brand in ourselves."
This statement indicates that Tej Pratap Yadav wants to build an independent and influential political image, regardless of whether the party leadership or other alliance leaders disagree with his decisions.
Displeasure Over RJD Candidate
The RJD has nominated Mukesh Roushan for the Mahua seat. When the media questioned Tej Pratap Yadav about this, he said, "Who is this person? Whose name are you taking? You're talking nonsense." This clearly shows that Tej Pratap Yadav holds his own opinion regarding local decision-making and candidate selection and does not hesitate to publicly express any unwelcome situation.
Regarding the Mahagathbandhan's decision to make Tejashwi Yadav the Chief Ministerial candidate, Tej Pratap Yadav said, "He has been made the Chief Ministerial candidate; what can I do about it?" On PM Narendra Modi's "Jungle Raj" statement, he remarked, "Modi ji keeps saying 'Jungle Raj, Jungle Raj,' but what kind of 'Mangal Raj' (good rule) is it now? It is 'Maha Jungle Raj' (great jungle rule)." The first phase of the Bihar Assembly elections will be on November 6 and the second phase on November 11. Vote counting will take place on November 14.
