The Uttar Pradesh Skill Development Mission has launched a free online Artificial Intelligence (AI) training programme for youth and the general public. Participants who complete the course and pass an online assessment will receive a certificate.
The initiative has been introduced in view of the growing employment opportunities linked to technology-based sectors. Under the programme, students, working professionals and candidates preparing for competitive examinations will be able to learn the fundamentals of Artificial Intelligence from home and obtain certification upon successful completion.
Artificial Intelligence has emerged as a rapidly developing technology with applications across education, industry, healthcare, banking and employment. Keeping this in view, the Uttar Pradesh Skill Development Mission has launched the free online AI training programme for the state's youth and other citizens.
The programme aims to familiarise participants with emerging technologies and equip them with skills aligned with future requirements. The training will be conducted entirely online, enabling participants to complete it from their homes. No specialised technical background is required to enrol.
According to Harish Mishra, District Coordinator of the Uttar Pradesh Skill Development Mission and Principal of ITI, the course will be useful for students, candidates preparing for competitive examinations, working professionals and young people interested in technology.
Knowledge of AI is increasingly regarded as an important qualification in the job market. The training programme is intended to help participants understand modern technological concepts and their practical applications.
The duration of the training programme has been set at approximately three hours. During the course, participants will be introduced to the basic concepts of Artificial Intelligence, its applications and its role across different sectors.
After completing the training, participants will undergo an online assessment. Candidates who successfully clear the assessment will receive a joint certificate from the Uttar Pradesh Skill Development Mission and Oracle University.
Interested candidates can register free of cost through the “AI for All” link available on the official website of the Uttar Pradesh Skill Development Mission. Training can begin immediately after the registration process is completed.
