New Delhi: Yamaha Motor India has launched the 2025 Fascino 125 Fi Hybrid scooter, with the base model available for ₹80,750 and the top-spec S variant for ₹1.03 lakh. The new model comes with a Bluetooth-enabled TFT console, Y-Connect mobile app-based turn-by-turn navigation, and new color options. It features a 125cc air-cooled fuel-injected Blue Core hybrid engine that is E20 fuel compatible and delivers 8 bhp and 10.3 Nm of torque with a CVT transmission. Features like enhanced power assist, start/stop system, and a smart motor generator are also included.
New Power Assist and Hybrid Technology
The 2025 Fascino 125 Fi Hybrid now features an ‘Enhanced Power Assist’ function. This feature provides the scooter with better acceleration. Yamaha says that a high-performance battery has been used in this system. This battery is capable of delivering torque for an extended period. The benefit is that the scooter quickly picks up speed while remaining stable. It also climbs slopes easily, even with a heavy load.
This scooter also features a smart motor generator. This helps in starting the engine quietly. In addition, there is also a start/stop system, which saves fuel. Overall, this feature makes the scooter even smarter and more fuel-efficient.
TFT Console and Mobile Connectivity
Yamaha has given the 2025 Fascino 125 Fi Hybrid a new TFT instrument console with Bluetooth connectivity. Through this console, the rider can connect the scooter to the Y-Connect mobile app. The biggest advantage of this is that the rider can now get turn-by-turn navigation. This feature is integrated with Google Maps. This means that real-time directions, intersection alerts, and street names are displayed on the screen.
The TFT console is not limited to navigation. It also shows battery level, trip meter, fuel efficiency, and other essential information. This feature is especially useful for those who travel long distances daily in the city.
New Color Options and Stylish Design
New color options have also been introduced in the 2025 Fascino 125. The top-spec S variant is now available in Matte Grey. The disc brake variant comes in Metallic Light Green. Meanwhile, the entry-level drum brake variant is now available in Metallic White. Yamaha has said that the new colors and design have been prepared keeping in mind the preferences of young riders.
The scooter's design remains as stylish as before. It features sleek bodywork and smooth lines. In addition, alloy wheels and modern graphics make it even more attractive.
125cc Air-Cooled Hybrid Engine
The 2025 Yamaha Fascino 125 features a 125cc air-cooled, fuel-injected Blue Core hybrid engine. This engine is now E20 fuel compatible. With a CVT automatic transmission, this engine generates 8 bhp of power and 10.3 Nm of peak torque.
The scooter's chassis is underbone. Telescopic forks are provided at the front and a monoshock suspension at the rear. This setup is comfortable for both city rides and long distances. The scooter is fitted with 12-inch alloy wheels. Depending on the variant, there is also an option of disc and drum brakes at the front.
