CM Yogi Sambhal: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath bestowed several development gifts upon the Sambhal district and reiterated his government's commitment to law and order. He clarified that ordinary citizens are completely safe in the state, but rioters will not be spared at any cost. The Chief Minister also emphasized the historical and religious importance of the district and presented a blueprint for its development.

Gift of Development Projects

CM Yogi Adityanath announced development plans worth over ₹500 crore in Sambhal. He stated that after 14 years, Sambhal is going to get its own district headquarters. Along with this, the foundation stone of the police line has also been laid, for which ₹200 crore has been sanctioned.

The Chief Minister also announced that on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan, the state government will provide free bus travel facility to women for three days. Under this scheme, sisters will be able to travel free with a co-passenger. He described this as a Raksha Bandhan gift for the women of the state.

Strong Message on Law and Order

Referring to the recent violence in Sambhal, Yogi Adityanath clearly stated that every common citizen is safe in his government, but there is no place for rioters. He said that in previous governments, there was an atmosphere of anarchy, where neither businessmen nor daughters were safe. But now the situation has changed.

The Chief Minister said, "Rioters are now experiencing the effect of Mahakal and are facing a wretched fate." He further added that those who disrupt social harmony cannot escape the clutches of the law.

Religious Heritage and Cultural Significance

CM Yogi highlighted the religious heritage of Sambhal, stating that it is a center of faith. He mentioned that the Vishnu Purana and Shrimad Bhagwat Purana mention that Lord Kalki will incarnate here. He also stated that there used to be 68 pilgrimage sites and 29 wells here, which were later desecrated.

Yogi said that Ahilyabai Holkar had renovated these pilgrimage sites and now the state government is engaged in reviving this heritage again. He also announced that the district will soon be provided with the facility of a four-lane road.

Attack on Samajwadi Party

In his address, the Chief Minister also targeted the Samajwadi Party. He said that during the SP government, the rights of the poor were snatched away. There was neither a grant for the marriage of daughters nor proper arrangement for education. But today the double engine government is providing facilities to every section.

Yogi Adityanath said, "In our government, along with the education of daughters, assistance is also given for marriage. Processes like police recruitment are also being completed with transparency and security."

Strict Stance Against Rioters

During his visit to Sambhal, Yogi Adityanath also said that this district has now become a new force to deal with rioters. He said, "Those who have damaged the heritage of Sambhal will have to pay the price. I have come here to give this message."

He further said that to take any society forward, it is necessary to understand and preserve its historical and cultural heritage. His government is working in this direction.

Importance of Aerial Survey and Visit

CM Yogi's visit is also considered special because this was his first visit after the violence in Sambhal on November 24, 2024. Before reaching the district, he also took stock of the situation by conducting an aerial survey. He said that now there is rule of law and the public is feeling safe.

Sambhal Will Become the City of Kalki and Harihar

The CM said that Sambhal will now be developed as the city of Harihar and Kalki. He said that the public will answer those who were trying to hide this historical truth. He also added that some people consider this place controversial, but now it is necessary to bring the truth to the fore.
