Aamir Khan shared that after a screening of "Dangal," when he sought Amitabh Bachchan's opinion, Bachchan praised the film but also pointed out a mistake in one scene. Amitabh told Aamir, "The film is excellent, but in one scene, you stepped out of character." Aamir was surprised that his error had been so meticulously noticed.

Aamir Khan explained that the mistake occurred during a wrestling scene. He said, "In one scene, when my daughter wins the match, I say 'Yes.' But Mahavir Phogat's character wouldn't do that." Aamir explained that Mahavir Phogat never said "Yes," instead using words like "Wah" or "Shabash." This mistake could not be corrected even during the film's editing.
