Vaishali, who is managing PM Modi's social media accounts today.

PM Modi had already announced on 'X' that some inspiring women would get the chance to manage his digital social media accounts on March 8th. He described this initiative as a significant step towards women's empowerment.

Vaishali's Birth and Early Journey

Vaishali was born on June 21, 2001, coincidentally the date now celebrated as International Yoga Day. She started playing chess at the tender age of six. It has been a thrilling and enriching journey, evident in her success across various tournaments and Olympiads.

Family's Contribution and Inspiration

Vaishali's parents, Thiru Rameshbabu and Thirumagal Nagalakshmi, have always been supportive. She shares a b bond with her younger brother, the renowned chess player Praggnanandhaa. Vaishali believes she's fortunate to have had excellent coaches and teammates who helped propel her career to great heights.

Focus on Improving FIDE Ranking

The 23-year-old Vaishali is a chess Grandmaster with a current FIDE rating of 2484. Her hard work and outstanding performance earned her the Arjuna Award in 2024. At just 12 years old, she defeated chess legend Magnus Carlsen, showcasing her exceptional talent. Currently, her primary focus is on improving her FIDE ranking.

Vaishali states that today's India offers numerous new opportunities for women athletes. From providing top-tier training to offering unique experiences, the country is rapidly progressing. Addressing women players, she emphasized that no obstacle can stop their dreams; they just need to work hard with passion.
