B K Hariprasad Appointed KPCC President After D K Shivakumar Becomes Karnataka Chief Minister

Following the recent change in leadership in Karnataka, the Congress party has announced a major organizational reshuffle in the state. The All India Congress Committee (AICC) has appointed senior Congress leader B.K. Hariprasad as the new president of the Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC).

The appointment comes after D.K. Shivakumar took oath as the Chief Minister of Karnataka and subsequently stepped down as KPCC president. With this change, new leadership arrangements have been established for both the state government and the party organization.

D.K. Shivakumar has assumed office as the Chief Minister of Karnataka. Following his elevation to the post, he relinquished his responsibilities as state Congress president. Shivakumar has been regarded as one of the most influential leaders in the Karnataka Congress and played a significant role in strengthening the party organization. As Chief Minister, he has now taken charge of the state administration.

Senior Congress leader B.K. Hariprasad has been entrusted with the leadership of the Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee. The party leadership assigned him the responsibility with the objective of ensuring organizational stability and better coordination with the government. Hariprasad has remained actively involved in the Congress organization for many years.

He has represented Karnataka in the Rajya Sabha and has held several important responsibilities at the national level. He is known within the party for his experience in organizational matters and political strategy.

A new Congress government has recently been formed in Karnataka. D.K. Shivakumar has now assumed the office of Chief Minister, replacing Siddaramaiah. With this transition, a new political arrangement has been established in the state. G. Parameshwara has been assigned the responsibility of Deputy Chief Minister. In addition, a total of 12 ministers have taken oath. The council of ministers includes several experienced leaders as well as younger faces.

Several senior Congress leaders attended the swearing-in ceremony of the Karnataka government. Those present included Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge, senior leader Rahul Gandhi, and chief ministers from other states.
